The Antigua Barbuda Defence Force wishes to extend its congratulations to two of its members who recently participated in the Federation International of Football Association (FIFA) Referees Assistance Programme (RAP) Course.
Private Second-Class (PSC) Dorian Whyte and Ordinary Seaman (OS) Ifari Benjamin successfully completed the course, which took place from June 21st to June 25th, 2023.
Throughout the duration of the course, they engaged in a series of physical and theoretical exercises.
The theoretical component of the training was conducted at the John E St. Luce Financial Building on Factory Road, organized by the Antigua Barbuda Football Association (ABFA).
This course facilitated various discussions pertaining to referees and assistant referees, emphasizing their performance both on and off the field.
It provided valuable insights into what is expected of officials during matches and offered an opportunity for them to delve deeper into the laws of the game.
By enabling their participation in this program, the ABDF continues to demonstrate its commitment to creating opportunities for its members to excel in diverse fields.
The training received by PSC Dorian Whyte and OS Ifari Benjamin contributes to the development of outstanding individuals who serve Antigua Barbuda’s Paratus Ad Serviendum.
