The Ministry of Foreign Affairs on behalf of The Government of Antigua and Barbuda is standing in solidarity with Prime Minister, The Hon. Mia Motley on her position in not sending a representative to the announced meeting with US Secretary State Mike Pompeo in Jamaica on Tuesday.

The Hon E.P Chet Greene, Minister of Foreign Affairs said, “We are very much in support of, and identify with the sentiments expressed by the CARICOM Chair, PM Motley of Barbados. As a government, we stand in support of this position.”

PM Motley made her declaration over the weekend when she stated, “As chairman of CARICOM, it is impossible for me to agree that my Foreign Minister should attend a meeting to which members of CARICOM are not invited” and suggested it was an attempt at divide and rule among CARICOM countries “if some are invited and not all”.

Antigua and Barbuda reiterates its stance on fostering stronger intra-regional relations and common regional approaches to international relations.

  1. How many times must Jamaica tell us who she is before we believe her. Jamaica is a user, she uses the rest of the Caribbean to dump her semiliterate and unemployable nationals who in turn send home remittances to boost their coffers.

Anything after that is a Jamaica first last and only policy.

While we talking about Caricom Jamaica is feverishly negotiating a trade bloc with Cuba and the DR which will never happen.
Mia you have a house negro in the camp, get rid of her quick fast in a hurry.

    • Jamaicans are about, Jamaica first! This instilled, into you from your birth, day one like an indoctrination!
Outside, of the mainland this give s them a sense of purpose, and direction back to their homeland, for they’ll stick together, as ONE.

On the home turf, for the most part, it’s the regular shit-u-a-tion, of class distinction, hence, one reason why, at home, they can’t and won’t put down the gun, which is causing, so much mur-da-ration in their Nation.
