Over 13 million dollars worth of illegal drugs went up in flames today as police destroyed massive drug hauls in a high-security operation in the Burma area.

Thick smoke billowed into the sky as officers set fire to confiscated cocaine and cannabis, seized from ports, cargo shipments, and hidden compartments.

Police PRO Inspector Frankie Thomas says it’s a warning to traffickers that Antigua and Barbuda is no safe haven for drug crime.

Law enforcers, along with judicial officers, oversaw the operation, ensuring these dangerous drugs are permanently removed from circulation.

  1. Lol… all I could think about is, “I wanna get high so high! So High” Sorry, I can’t take this seriously. Watching $13 million worth of drugs go up in flames while police are patting themselves on the back just feels like a scene from a movie. It’s hard to focus on the serious message when all I can hear is the song in my head!!!
