On the first day of the Caribbean Travel Marketplace event, the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism team kicked off a busy schedule of meetings with buyers from various regions including the USA, UK & Europe, Canada, The Caribbean, and Latin America.
Minister of Tourism, the Honourable Charles Fernandez, was also engaged in media interviews and discussions with other Tourism ministers.
The Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority is represented by their Directors of Tourism from key source markets, including Dean Fenton for the USA, Cherrie Osborne for the UK & Europe, Charmaine Spencer for The Caribbean and Latin America, and Tameka Wharton as the Director of Tourism (Ag) for Canada.
Accompanying them are other industry representatives, including Chairman of the Antigua and Barbuda Hotels and Tourism Association (ABHTA) Board of Directors, Craig Marshall, Executive Director of the ABHTA, Patrice Christian-Simon, and ABHTA Board Director, Norma Holder, among other DMCs and hotel partners who are also in attendance.
