Antigua and Barbuda Strengthen Ties with Canada, Discuss Collaboration in Diplomatic Meeting

Antigua and Barbuda’s Ambassador to CARICOM, Dr. Clarence Henry, and Canada’s Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maninder Sidhu, met to discuss bilateral relations and preparations for the Small Island Developing States Conference in 2024.

Both countries praised their longstanding diplomatic ties and addressed issues such as climate change, visa requirements, regional transportation, and potential collaboration in resolving the crisis in Haiti.

The meeting took place during the 45th Regular Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of CARICOM.
