  2. Integrity. Commitment. Public service. Principles. Etcetera. Words of praise and commendation. A leading light of the ABLP for decades. Before 1976 you worked as a bookkeeper in a hotel. Along the way you kept a few dozen free roaming goats. Between 1976 and today, your 80th birthday, your only official income has been the salary you earned as a minister in the ablp administrations. Yet, according to former minister Lennox Weston, speaking in parliament, you are part owner of 13 hotels in Antigua and across the Caribbean. You own prestige properties in the UK. The UK Courts ordered you to pay your divorced wife alimony in the amount of £14 million. And you paid. Yes, Sir. You have done very well indeed. For yourself. A great example you have been for your comrades. How well you have upheld the “principles of the party”. Principles of self enrichment, of politics as bluff and deceit, of doing nothing to really develop the poor people of St Philip North while facilitating your elite friends to build their multimillion dollar mansions at Emerald Cove and Savanna (the only parts of your constituency to have physically improved since 1976). Yes, Sir, you had a great run! And your party, the Mother of Corruption and Misgovernment in the Caribbean, has awarded you all the honours your comrade leaders expect to be likewise awarded after they too have bamboozled and ruined the people and nation they will have misled and pauperized all the days of their long tenure in government. So go away, Sir! You should have gone long ago. Pity the poor people who kept you there so long are too backward and foolish to see you for who and what you truly are.
