I would like to see more support and investment in the development of local referees from the grassroots level. While this recognition is a great step, ensuring that young aspiring referees have access to proper training and mentorship will help sustain this momentum and improve the quality of officiating nationwide
BE THE CHANGE YOU WISH TO SEE!!!! Tap run you mouth and DO something!!!!
The recognition of local officials on the FIFA 2025 International Referee List is an impressive milestone for Antigua and Barbuda’s football community. It’s great to see our officials gaining international recognition and showcasing their skills. That being said, I hope this achievement doesn’t overshadow the need for continued improvement in the overall infrastructure of football in the country. The focus should not only be on the success of individual referees but also on elevating the game as a whole, including better training facilities, resources, and programs for all involved in the sport.
