The Antigua and Barbuda Falcons are set to join the CPL cricket league, with plans to bid for one of the three new CPL Women’s teams. Vernon Springer, a Falcons official, announced that they aim to establish their own women’s team.

The Falcons franchise also plans to host cricket and educational camps to foster local talent and strengthen community ties.

Additional events include “Falcons Fridays” at Landing Strip bar and grill, starting July 5, where patrons can meet Falcons officials and stars, with jerseys available for purchase. A community roadshow is scheduled for July 6.

The Falcons will kick off their campaign against the St Kitts & Nevis Patriots on August 29 at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, followed by a match against the Guyana Amazon Warriors on August 30.

They will then play the Barbados Royals on September 2 at 10:00 am and the St Lucia Kings on September 3 at 7:00 pm, all at the North Sound venue.
