We are thrilled to share the exciting news that the Antigua and Barbuda Dental Association has recently been honored with a prestigious award from the International College of Dentists and Henry Schein, our largest dental supplier in the United States.
This award recognizes the Sunny Smiles Project, which was entered into a competition by our Association. It is a moment of immense pride for us as we are one of two recipients selected from across the Caribbean region.
The Sunny Smiles Project is an ambitious initiative aimed at reaching seven schools initially. It encompasses a multifaceted approach, including data collection, preventive measures, educational programs for children, parents, and teachers, as well as providing fluoride applications for children.
We are excited about the potential impact of our program and aspire for it to serve as a model for future projects in schools in Antigua and Barbuda.
To support this noble cause, the Antigua and Barbuda Dental Association will host a Christmas Party Fundraiser on 2 December 2023, at Sandals Grande Antigua, commencing at 6:30 pm.
