CABINET NOTES: The Cabinet of Antigua and Barbuda welcomed members of the Ecclesiastical Commission to discuss the ratification of the Commission’s Terms of Reference and a Code of Conduct for guiding political parties and candidates.
Cabinet agreed to review both documents and invited the Commission to return in the coming weeks for further discussions on their contents.

The Cabinet also confirmed the establishment of a National Day of Prayer as a public holiday, to be observed annually on the second Thursday of September (11th September 2025).
The day will feature a national march and a Prayer Service, with the entire day dedicated to prayer and fasting for the nation and people of Antigua and Barbuda.

Isn’t there an ANNUAL National Service of Thanksgiving that is traditionally held on the first Sunday of January, to give thinks for the Nation’s Blessings?

If I got that right, wouldn’t it make sense to have this ‘NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER AS A PUBLIC HOLIDAY’ on this date?

Some of the pastors and men of the cloth calling for this day are hypocrites.
They need to be made aware that they cannot serve two masters.
How could they sit quietly and condone the corruption, deception and evil perpetuated by this government and be in bed with them.
We do not hear them speaking out or calling out this regime against their ungodly ways.

They support this corruption on one hand and on the other want to preach purity.

Respectfully- we do not need an Ecclesiastical body- we need a Spiritual body of people- people who knows how to reach God through the Spirit and not through a body of men/ women with robes and bow ties under their necks. The national day of prayer during the pandemic season really yielded nothing- it clearly didn’t reach the throne of God- since the masses were still totally deceived through the Covid Plandemic and subsequently its deadly genocidal shots🥲
Oh Great ….. another day to worship the Jesus that stood by during slavery, famine, and war, hunger and rape of our African sisters and brothers. GTFOOH
