STATEMENT FROM HON. ANTHONY SMITH JR.
My dear people of All Saints West,
I come to you with a grateful heart, as always,grateful for your continued support, your faith in me, and most importantly, for your love of community.
As we move forward together, I feel it is necessary to speak directly and honestly about something that many of you have noticed yourselves.
In recent times, we’ve seen Mr. Harold Lovell suddenly show up and present himself as if he now has a deep concern for the people of All Saints West. But let’s be real, this is not where Mr. Lovell invested his energy or interest over the years. His political home was in Fort Road and City East, where he spent most of his time and, frankly, where many were left disappointed by his leadership, genuine connection and his lack of follow-through.
Now, having fallen short elsewhere, he turns his attention here, hoping you’ve forgotten, but the people of All Saints West have long memories and even stronger roots. We know who has been with us and who only comes around when it’s politically convenient.
The narrative that I was elected by UPP supporters alone is false and, quite frankly, disrespectful to the diverse group of residents who live in All Saints West. My election victory, wasn’t a party victory, it was the people’s victory. People from all walks of life and across political lines stood up and said, “We want someone who knows us, someone who has been with us, and someone who genuinely loves us.”
I have always been a part of my community and constituency,not just during elections, but every day before and after. From my teenage years serving as Treasurer and President of the local sports club, to my involvement in church and small business, to my daily conversations with elders and peers alike,this is not just where I work. This is where I belong. That sense of duty to serve didn’t start with me. It comes from my family, who thought me to love and serve, it fuels the way I represent you.
My campaign was never built on division. In fact, we made a special effort to reach out across the aisle to ABLP supporters, to undecided voters, to anyone who wanted better for their community. Many of them responded,not because they left their party, but because they trusted me, because they saw someone who was already doing the work, long before a campaign banner went up.
So I say this clearly: I am not just the MP for UPP voters. I am the MP for every single resident of All Saints West. Red or blue, young and old, you are my priority, and you always will be. Let’s not be distracted by sudden visitors. Let us continue the work that we began together, grounded in honesty, service, and real connection. I’m not new here, I’ve always been here and I will always be here for you with continued love and respect.

He doesn’t live in that constituency.
He lives either in St Marys North or All Saints West.

Does ALP have even a single honest follower? A couple of years ago, the Lawless Leader broadcasted a conversation he had had with the now seasoned Traitor and was vehemently scorched. The Traitor said that ALP stood for everything that HE was against and highlighted their corrupt policies and practises and noted that it was totally impossible for him to have any connection with such a corrupt organization. The Unfaithful National was one who believed the Lawless Leader and called the then All Saints West MP another UPP liar. U just sent some guys to cut bushes near the road as if that’s going to solve the real issue, especially when it rains!
