  2. Does it seems odd that recently Antigua have been experiencing a brash of earthquakes recently. Is it a precursor of a great and bigger things to come. Could it be an effect of global warming. Just wondering.

  3. @B…The Caribbean Tentonic Plates which runs through South America, the Greater and Lesser Antilles are shifting.
    The Caribbean has had its share of devastating earthquakes!
    Jamaica has had several which have caused major destruction to places like Kingston and Port Royal!

    Antigua had a serious earthquake in 1974 which sent shock waves as far south as Trinidad.

    The greed of the oligarchs as they make billions in profits from shale mining, natural gas extraction and of course oil drilling have all being accused of causing more frequent seismic occurrences.

    Oklahoma in the USA has seen an increase of earthquakes of well over 100% since 2009 and it has being argued, that Gas and Oil drilling are the culprits!
