Anchorage Road Traffic Diversion Begins August 21 for Vital Daytime Roadworks

1

The Works Ministry will enforce traffic diversion on Anchorage Road, starting August 21.

This change is prompted by crucial daytime roadworks on the stretch between Marble Hill Road junction and New Bridge.

Traffic will follow alternative routes during the day, guided by signs and personnel, while regular flow resumes at night.

Motorists are cautioned about marked trenches with caution tape. Delays are inevitable, so adjusting travel times is advised.

  1. It is full time that bridge in Yarks- Ancrage road is fixed. I say that the government road program sucks . The contractor that is doing the factory road and the south road should not be paid a cent more. I understand that it is environment that is responsible for that bridge. The thing is has environment bitten off more than they can chew or is it the usual square pegs in round holes. We have major hotels on that route and it is a burning shame. I don’t know how this government is bragging about it’s experience and things like this are happening all over the place. The rosd works for the past 5 years you I give the government on road improvement is an F~.
