American Airlines is extending its seasonal flight service from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport to Antigua’s VC Bird International Airport.

The service will mean daily nonstop flights between New York and Antigua for the winter season, with service slated to launch on Nov. 21, according to a statement from the carrier.

The new daily flights from JFK depart New York at 7:30 AM, with the return flights from Antigua departing at 12:44 PM.

  1. I’m lost. Haven’t lived in Antigua for a long time but wasn’t this always the case?

  2. This is great news. Maybe LIAT should have a partnership agreement with American Airlines.

I still think LIAT is a lousy name for an airline.

  3. ANR, thank you for the notification on scheduling flight with American Airline. I remembered this a flight we normally received during a particular season…nothing new.

  4. Jetblue is increasing. Wednesday’s from the end of October and Saturday’s from the start of November.
