Amanaki John, a man in his early twenties from Golden Grove, confessed to stabbing Alexta Francis in a July 2021 altercation at Big Creek, which was captured on camera and widely shared on social media.
John pleaded guilty to unlawful wounding in a recent High Court appearance before Justice Tunde Bakre and is awaiting sentencing on November 7 for the non-life-threatening injuries inflicted on Francis.
