Almost 100 Pounds of Cannabis Seized at Deep Water Harbour

Close to 100 pounds of cannabis were seized at the Deep Water Harbour on Monday 15 May.

Both the Police and Customs Departments conducted a joint drug operation at the main seaport and discovered two barrels with 97 sealed packages of Cannabis inside.

The substance weigh a total of 97 pounds with an estimated value $582,000.

Further investgations are ongoing into the matter.

  1. Somebody was trying to convince me that the police plays the game of in mini mino mo when deciding who they would arrest down by the port itself when they come clear a barrel with contrabands. I told them no, its a case of whose name is on the barrel and their connections and association with the “brahmins” in our society.
