  1. PM GB has torn a page straight out of Joe Biden’s play book. It is obvious to all that the ABLP is buying votes with tax payers money. The issue is, as it is in the USA, is there adequate vetting of the candidates? It would also be nice to know how many candidates are in the amnesty?

  2. So amnesty for illegals is OK so that they can vote when there’s an election, but the diaspora are excluded from voting unless they spend TWO consecutive months in Antigua … WHAT NONSENSE IS THIS? 😒

    • It’s one month and it was the upp the amended the Representation of the People’s Act 2007 or 2008 and made it mandatory Antiguans and Barbudans living overseas need to stay in Antigua and Barbuda for 1 month or more to register to vote in Antigua and Barbuda

      • ‘Slow talker’, if this is true then I am entitled to vote at the next election, and furthermore I will be encouraging the diaspora to do the exact same thing – THIS IS VERY GOOD NEWS 👍

    • Tbis is not for vote, is for collect money a lot for the government…is 100ec per Month per person..imagine how much money Government will collect, plus gain a sympathy..But those with amnesty dont vote.
