Alfa Nero Sale Unaffected as High Court Rejects Injunction Bid

In a significant development, a High Court judge has refused an application for an injunction to block the completion of the sale of the luxurious superyacht, Alfa Nero.

The applicant, Russian citizen Yulia Gurieva Motlokhov, claimed ownership interest in the vessel.

This decision marks another legal victory for the Government, following a previous win against the Flying Dutchman Overseas Limited.

American billionaire Eric Schmidt emerged as the successful bidder for Alfa Nero, with a purchase price of US$67.06 million.

The Attorney General’s Chambers anticipates a prompt resolution of the remaining legal matters surrounding the sale.

  6. Yacht seizure is now replacing the CIP? Now that the windfall is on its way, maybe they can begin to pay people for all of the outstanding wages, overtime etc. But please sort out the garbage. The country stinks!!!
    I can understand why Labourites so happy after so many failed projects, and no new investors in many years. This must feel like Christmas in June. But like everything in this country we shouldn’t expect too much to change. ABLP and Gaston Browne are a bunch of losers.

    I understand the politicians are asking for an increase in salary cause $10k a month isn’t enough. They want $20k.
    With this super yacht greed & grab, they might just get that raise after all.
