Workers employed with the Antigua Barbuda Airport Authority have slowed down the pace of their work in apparent protest.

The action has crippled the operations of the airport and led to long lines of passengers waiting to be processed. Among the affected are three prime ministers who are here for a LIAT shareholders meeting.

Security guards are among those taking part in the action.

According to reports, the workers who represented by the Antigua Workers Union are not satisfied with the pace and manner of negotiations with the ABAA.

They also wanted back pay which is owed.

More details to follow.

  1. Why not go slow on a Saturday?

Wouldn’t that send a more urgent message?

They should get the cleaners and immigration to assist with the protest
