West Indies Oil Company says it now has adequate supplies of all petroleum products for the yuletide season and beyond.

WIOC’s Chief Executive Officer, Gregory Georges provided the update on Tuesday, on the heels of the docking of a ship with fresh supplies of gasoline.

He said: “We have 33,000 barrels. That’s about what, 1.1 million gallons?

That will easily last us for the next three weeks, and then we expect on the rotation shortly before that.

So certainly over the next three weeks, we have adequate gasoline stocks on hand.”

  1. Wow 😁 wow wow I have been listening to Gregory for the last couple of weeks none of us new that we have a shortage of petroleum we new about the L P G yes the seas was a threat Now I am a bit concerned weather the storage capacity for our reserved is enough I heard that we have the capacity for three too six months some time ago now I am hearing three weeks tell us the truth. People let us get real follow the news a reduction in petroleum is on the horizon instructions from OPEC will cause some problem across the world. Are we preparing for the New World Order Gregory you got your instructions I’m watching

    • All I will say is that Gregory Georges gave two (2) different stories to the public on the gasoline issue.

First he told a lady on a radio station, we have enough gasoline. As a matter of fact, he said we have storage here for a third-party that we could buy from.

A few days after, gas station running out of gasoline.

  2. Antigua is full of people whose work is difficient but their pay is overwhelmingly proficient. Such persons cause the consumers great stress and anxiety by their failures and last minute restructuring. Such is this man, another Caribbean manager on Antigua payroll – they all laugh at us saying ‘Antiguans are shitheads!’ Because our PM tells them so, and positions them to control the wealth of Antigua for ‘them & him’

  3. Wow wow wow I don’t know my name you are right on point I thought I would have seen more comments on this important issue

  4. Like most in top positions, especially of state owned institutions or companies Gregory Georges Lied to the public. Reminded me very much of the Social security boss .
He told us that he had some issues with LPG due to the rough seas. However we had more than enough gas , diesel, and aircraft fluid stored. Former ABLP voter -you are correct, he said it on ABS television. He was even asked to repeat the statement that the motorist etc can be at ease , which he did. So rightly said these people are getting some astronomical salaries to carry the titles CEO. We are following the USA and not countries with proper fiscal spending.
