Achazia James will be laid to rest today

Achazia James, a 15-year-old student from Princess Margaret School, will be laid to rest today.

In her honor, the school will close, allowing staff and students to attend the funeral.

The school shared a message encouraging support for Achazia’s family during this difficult time.

Achazia’s body was found on August 18 at Runway Beach with multiple injuries, and the investigation into her murder remains ongoing.

  1. The authorities in Antigua have been successful in locating WEED, yet there has been a lack of progress in apprehending the perpetrator of a heinous crime. This failure to secure any suspects in connection with such a brutal and reprehensible murder is deeply troubling. The victim’s family and the community at large will not find closure until the responsible individuals are brought to justice. I hope this can happen sooner than later so you can rest in peace. 🙏🙏

  7. Its good to call on God and ask for justice in times like these, but before we get there, what are we as Parents doing to help our children??? Give them the opportunity to get to know God.
