The murder trial for Shawn ‘Soca Slide’ Mussington will begin on December 5.
Mussington is accused of killing 45-year-old Simone Whyte.
Mussington received his date of hearing before Justice Collin Williams Friday morning.
Investigators say Mussington killed the Jamaican national during an altercation on Nov. 14, 2020.
The incident reportedly happened around 8:30 p.m. at a store at the junction of Market and Tanner streets.
Mussington has denied the charge against him.
