In a significant development related to the trial of the murder of Bruce Greenaway, one of the four accused individuals is now facing additional charges in connection with an incident that occurred in Jolly Harbour on May 29.

Jason Modeste has been charged with Obstruction of Justice and Battery on Police.

Modeste, who is already on trial for his alleged involvement in the murder of Bruce Greenaway, now finds himself entangled in a separate legal matter.

The incident in question took place in Jolly Harbour, and the charges of Obstruction of Justice and Battery on Police have been brought against Modeste as a result.

The specific details surrounding the incident and the events leading up to the charges have not been disclosed at this time.

However, it is evident that the authorities deemed Modeste’s actions as constituting obstruction of justice and battery on a law enforcement officer, prompting the charges to be filed against him.

He appeared before magistate Ngaio Emanuel and was granted bail in the sum of XCD$3,000.00, with a cash component of XCD$1,000.00 along with two sureties.
He is also to report to the St John’s Police Station every Wednesday and Saturday.
He is to return to court on this matter on September 13.
