  1. This is a very sad time for the Family of that young man. Yes,he had an accident. However, when he went to the Hospital. Did they have the necessary tools and personnel in place to evaluate him. He was in a Coma when he arrived. This happened on Friday August 5,2022 and he died on Friday August 12,2022.I am being told that there is not a Neurosurgeon at Mount St.John. They are on a retainer basis. Were they paid or not? When the Budget is spelled out in Parliament, yearly. The Ministry of Health should be accorded a portion for those specialists that are not living and or working on Island. So that when needed, like in this instance they are there for those patients.Rest in Peace young man.

    • When will Antiguans and Barbudans realize they need to put their healthcare on the ballot this election. Healthcare is not red, blue or yellow. They need to hear from both ALP and UPP who is going to make the investments to upgrade SLMBC into a hospital where cases like this young man, Andre Simon and others can have better outcomes. All is not well.

  2. My condolences to his family. I am not surprised at this outcome as the so-called Antigua economic power house does not have a hospital that can care for critically injured patients.
