ABS staff protest for overtime pay owed to them over several years

10

Staff at ABS are taking a stand to press for monies owed to them.

They have stopped working in protest.

The employees have been asking for the payment of these outstanding monies dating back to 2015.

They are upset that the Attorney General made an appeal to remove the panel of judges hearing their industrial case.

Shop Steward Kerrio Adams claims that the decision was made because the panel was thought to have shown bias in favour of the workers.

  1. Swish Swash!!!! Consider this paid under a UPP administration. The money tree is 11 months, 5 days, 3 hours, 10 minutes and 21 seconds from bearing.

    • JUST SAYING you are more and more correct with your comments. Yes, a UPP government will ensure the workers are paid just as it did with the mountain of debt that the ALP government left in its 28 years of governance.

      • My friend Charles, you know UPP is not going to happen, although I agree these workers should be paid every cent due to them, with interest and a bonus.
