ABLP Calls Out UPP for Misleading Voters in Three Constituencies

7

THIS IS AN OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM THE ANTIGUA AND BARBUDA LABOUR PARTY HEADQUARTERS

The United Progressive Party has been deliberately calling supporters of the ABLP in the constituencies of St. Mary’s North, St. Mary’s South and St. John’s Rural East and providing them with false information regarding where they should cast their vote. The ABLP Headquarters has been able to independently verify that electors are being deliberately misled. Deliberately misleading voters about where to cast their ballot is a direct attack on the democratic rights of voters.

Do not trust false instructions. Verify your polling station through official channels and protect your vote.

Electors in these constituencies should be guided by the under-referenced information only or go to www.ablpantigua.com to verify your election day information.

  1. I really think Gaston and his Cabal should just stop trying to criticize UPP when it. Comes to certain things. People are more sensible than you think, maybe not so much the lickspittlers that grovel under Labour for survival. ABLP have been misleading people in all 16 Constituencies in Antigua and Samantha has the unmitigated gall to be talking crap. After her WATERLOO in St. Mary’s South she hasn’t been seen again. Good Frigging Riddance!

  2. The Antigua Barbuda Labour Party (ALP) has been misleading the people for years. First, we were misled by a 40% hike in vehicle taxes, promised for better roads—yet no roads appeared. Then, the water situation still persists. The CIP program compromised U.S. visa eligibility, now forcing people to pay a $10,000 bond—again, benefiting only a few. We were misled by the sale of the Alpha Nero boat, by $2 million worth of cars paid by the treasury, with no answers. And we were misled by signatures—like his wife’s and the PS—left unanswered. Gaston Brown, step out of that glass house before you throw any more stones.

  4. Give me a break, i was called by the ALP hotline asking me for my support for the ALP candidate and the young man proceeding in telling me where i should go and vote, i indicated to him, oh wow i didnt know i had to go there because the last election i went to a different place, come to find out it was the wrong location this young man from the ALP hotline was giving me, i went and found out myself where i should go and its exactly where i thought i was going in the first place.. so miss me with that crap … i cant wait for this crap to be over with.. no one has love for country anymore, its all about getting in or staying in at all cost so the raping of this country and continue… Lord have mercy on my country…

  5. When Gaston Brown calls a snap election just two and a half years into his term—still having another two and a half years left—and then pushes a new manifesto before completing his original agenda, that is misleading. We’ve only seen minor tax relief during elections, but the ABST is still crushing everyday people. He’s not maintaining government buildings he’s taken over. This is a man who’s called a financially educated leader, but he lacks any core diplomatic values. He uses language carelessly, he condemns and discriminates, and he lets his ministers enrich themselves without consequence. So, when he talks about being “not ready” or “misleading,” we are being misled

  6. Being misled also happens when you pay people off and tell them things are getting better—when, in fact, others are still struggling, broke, with no money. It’s a game where they design the plays and set the rules, and that is what’s misleading. When he called this snap election, he flooded the place with flags and banners, not giving any real chance to others. He misled the country by denying a fair democratic process. His party is so biased—they hand out gas vouchers to thousands, just to inflate their support. And that is misleading—making people think they’re bigger than they are, when only 13,000 are even registered. This is misleading, Mr. Brown, and we are voting you out tomorrow.
