Kendra Beazer has outlined a vision centered on community, heritage, and social development following her official nomination as the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party (ABLP) candidate for Barbuda.
In a statement issued after his nomination on Monday, Beazer described the moment as “a new chapter for Barbuda,” adding that he was “humbled and honored” to represent the party in the upcoming general election.
He said his campaign would focus on “people and place,” with priorities including safeguarding Barbuda’s heritage, creating opportunities for young people, and improving support systems for the elderly.
“This campaign is about people and place—protecting our heritage, empowering our youth, strengthening services for our seniors, and building resilience together,” Beazer said.
The ABLP candidate also pointed to the importance of collective action in shaping the island’s future, saying development must be grounded in shared values and community involvement.
“With collective leadership and community spirit, we will ensure Barbuda’s development is rooted in dignity, opportunity, and hope,” he added.
Beazer is among candidates nominated on Nomination Day ahead of the April 30 general election, where voters will choose representatives across constituencies including Barbuda.

Yeah! Kendra want renaissance or rebirth Gaston gun threat to take Barbuda lands and sell to white people , how great of Kendra to join force with Gaston to take away Barbuda lands and give rich white people to create an apartheid enclave, I can remember when Kendra cried during Irma at the wicked treatment meted out to barbudans by Gaston and molwyn and the police and military with machine guns to give the surveyors time to cut up the lands to sell white people, Kendra you have swallowed your tears and is loving what Gaston is doing in terms of land squander, did Arthur nibbs tell you about his lonesome pay off to help commit such treason?
@⌚ Barbuda don’t have no land. All lands (except where privately and legally owned) are vested in the CROWN. It does not matter whether you believe and/or accept this TRUTH or not. Hopefully the majority will REJECT the BPM BRAINWASHING this time around and vote for the ABLP Candidate, Mr. Kendra Beazer.
