Prime Minister Gaston Browne has condemned the vandalism of billboards of both major political parties on island.
“On a serious note, we condemn any destruction or defacing of candidates posters and ask the perpetrator/s to kindly cease and desist,” Browne said in a post on social media.
The ABLP has called on UPP leader Harold Lovell to issue a similar statement of condemnation.

These billboards are a waste of money. Do people vote based on a billboard or how many billboards a party puts up? NO!
I recalled the other day DCA was giving removal notices for billboards. However how is it that DCA has allowed that billboard by the Chinese embassy which has to be one of the biggest risks to livelihood. Is it because it’s for ABLP? The billboard is right under the electric poles and to make matters worse one of the 2×4 is actually nailed to the said pole. How can this be? Still the original Just Saying.

Vandalism should never occur, however, these are such a waste of resources.
I will vote against any candidate that is posting other people’s pictures on their billboards. Wilmouth Daniel did it last election and it did not go down well with me . Now Gaston Brown is doing it and honestly the two of them are not too far off in behavior and personality.
Cut down the billboards and ship them to Barbuda. They were stolen from Barbudans. We have people still living in tents for 5 years since hurricane Irma.
