ST. JOHN’S, Antigua – The Antigua and Barbuda International Institute of Technology (ABIIT) has announced a substantial reduction in tuition fees, a move aimed at expanding access to quality tertiary education across the nation.
Effective immediately, students pursuing a two-year associate degree at ABIIT will benefit from significantly lower tuition costs.
The School of Business now offers its programs for just EC$5,000, while programs in the School of Engineering and Technology and the School of Art and Design are available for EC$7,000. Additional service fees will apply.
“We are elated to be able to make tertiary education more affordable to our students and prospective students,” said Mrs. Assata Roberts, Deputy Head of Campus.
“This move will allow us to continue to fulfill our motto as we ramp up our mission to educate the students of Antigua and Barbuda for the world.”
The institution is encouraging school leavers, working professionals, and those considering a career change to take advantage of the reduced fees.
With registration for the September 2025 trimester set to begin in August, prospective students are urged to apply early. Once accepted, they will only need to select their courses and register when the period opens.

ABIIT’s latest initiative underscores its commitment to providing affordable, high-quality education and preparing students for success both locally and globally.
