Temporary ID Cards will be issued to registered electors who have lost or misplaced their ID cards on Election Day!

 

Requirements-

 

1). Bring a passport size photo to our Headquarters on Queen Elizabeth Highway on the 2nd Floor of the David Shouls Building.

 

2). That photo will be certified through our verification checks and affixed to a card signed and stamped by the Chairman of the Commission.

 

3). You will be issued a letter along with this card to take to the polling station.

 

4). You will present this card to the Presiding Officer to exercise your franchise.

 

5). After voting, that card is left at the polling station. It is just for use on Election Day!

  1. Antigua, the place where we make things more diffcult than they need to be. ABEC know how you look (have your picture) yet we continue to have this stupid requirement that only a ACEC provided ID will allow you to vote. A picture list is used during voting. . No ID should even be necessary due to the info ABEC has.. Anyway atleast any public body issued picture ID (Passport, drivers license, SS ID, MBS ID) should be suffcient. All over A&B those ID’s are aceppted yet we can’t use them to vote
