The Antigua and Barbuda Electoral Commission (ABEC) has released the official list of polling stations for the general election scheduled for Thursday, April 30, 2026, while flagging several key venue changes affecting voters in multiple constituencies.

In a notice issued for public circulation, the commission urged electors to review their assigned polling locations in advance, particularly in areas where long-standing voting sites have been relocated. https://abec.gov.ag/media/articles/other/2026_GE_polling_stations.php

In St. John’s City West, Polling District “A”, voters who traditionally cast ballots at the Wesleyan Holiness Church basement on Bishopsgate Street will now be reassigned based on surname. Electors with surnames from A to G will vote at the Zion Church of God on North Street, while those with surnames from H to Z will vote at the Bethel Anglican Church on Lower St. John’s Street.

Changes have also been implemented in St. John’s Rural North, Polling District “A”. Voters who would typically use the Yorks Community Centre have been reassigned to alternative locations, including the St. Andrew’s Anglican Church on Fort Road for some surname groupings. Other electors will continue voting at the Wesleyan Junior Academy, which remains in use despite being located outside the constituency.

Meanwhile, in St. Mary’s South, Polling District “B”, electors who previously voted at the Johnson’s Point Clinic will now cast their ballots at the Tourist Information Centre in Johnson’s Point.

ABEC said the full list of polling stations and official election notices is available on its website and encouraged media houses and community groups to assist in sharing the information to ensure voters are properly informed ahead of polling day.
