
The Antigua and Barbuda Defence Force (ABDF) has commenced a military training exercise, codenamed BRC 2501, starting today, April 22, and continuing through to April 25, 2025.
The operation is taking place in the Christian Valley, Cades Bay, and Walling’s areas, located on the southern side of the island.
The ABDF is advising the public to avoid approaching or engaging with recruits who will be participating in the drill during this time.
According to the official notice issued from Camp Blizard, St. George’s, the exercise plays a vital role in the recruits’ military development and maintaining the integrity of the training is a top priority.
The Defence Force has expressed its gratitude to the public for their understanding and cooperation as it continues to train and prepare its personnel for national service.
