Lead: A woman presumed missing for over three decades in Venezuela will be repatriated to Antigua next week, following efforts by the government to reunite her with family.

Prime Minister Gaston Browne has announced that the government will repatriate an Antiguan woman who had been presumed missing for more than 30 years.
Speaking during his Pointe FM radio programme on Saturday, Browne said the woman——was recently located in Venezuela after her relatives discovered her through social media.
“She was reported missing for over 30 years, and through Facebook, she was able to reconnect with her family,” Browne said, adding that he personally spoke with her to verify her identity. “I interrogated her for at least half an hour. I asked where she lived, why she left, and how she ended up in Venezuela.”
The government, in collaboration with Venezuelan authorities, is facilitating her return to Antigua and Barbuda. Browne said the state will provide travel support for King and at least one family member.
The woman reportedly had no documentation and had lived undocumented in Venezuela for decades. Her exact circumstances remain unclear, but officials say she will be welcomed back with care and support.
“This is a remarkable story of survival and reconnection,” Browne said. “We are looking forward to bringing her home next Saturday.”

I guess by this news you want us to believe your government is doing all it can to find and eradicate this missing persons episode.
This female as you claimed have no documentation, so how did she lived and survived for thirty years in a Spanish speaking country and how did she arrived there, was there a case of amnesia?

How did she get to Venezuela? Who was she with and what has happened to her all this time?
Was this a case of human trafficking or was she in the care of others?
There are so many questions.
Please do not make her return a spectacle. The circumstances can be revealed without doing that.
I welcome a good ole heartwarming story, however, this distraction tactic will not sway the citizens attention from the rising number of people who are vanishing into thin air. Bring in the overseas experts, or the upcoming general election may take many people by suprise. Some people tend to forget that the missing persons have family members, and they vote. Fix the problem now!
This story about Gwen King missing for over 30 years is a mystery to me unless there is another Gwen King in Antigua. Family members of Gwen King should verify that story. If at all she is the same Gwen King that I know, it cannot be 30 years since. The Gwen King that i know is not a follish woman. Anybody can travel to anywhere in the world without travel documents once you have the right link. There are many undocumented illegal immigrants here without travel documents. Once there are high powered boat operating in our waters, smuggling is a way of life in this country. And for those who want Chantel Autopsy report before the other Laboratories release their report, they can do their autopsy .

Please make the connection between this lady who fell off the radar in Venezuela and the people missing in Antigua.
Antigua can fit into Venezuela several thousand times.
Our population is that of a small village in Venezuela.
When one person disappears in Venezuela except for the immediate family that is not even noticed.
When one person disappears in Antigua thats headline news.
So do not equate the two scenarios.
Now the story begins by saying woman who was presumed missing.
Wasn’t she actually missing for the thirty years?
Was she faking her disappearance?
So because she has now been found does it mean that she was never missing????
You and your news portal are giving the impression that the woman went missing from Antigua.
Stop your deception.
You will nor die in office.
Your pseudo journalists need to be conscious of that.
The way they are compromising their journalistic integrity to satisfy you will render them obsolete to any news portal when you are not longer in office.
I hope this does not mean family members should wait 30 years to see if their missing family members turn up.. …..Is this the solution for all the missing persons?
This is a big story and I hope the full length of it will be told And the person/persons involved will be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law. Hope they don’t try to cover this up.

Brown did the interrogation. Not the CID or any other entities who are trained and responsible for such.
Not the Minister of foreign Affairs responsible for foreign and international policy and travel documents. In the mean time mum is the word on the other list of missing persons
