VCBIA: We were extremely delighted to collaborate with the Hells Gate Steel Orchestra to give a deserving welcome to Khan Cordice who returned from Trinidad today.
After selecting ‘Tourist Leggo’ as their tune to play in this year’s Panorama, Trinidad’s Exodus Steel Orchestra provided Khan with the unique and distinct honor to be their Drill Master for the 1976 Antiguan road march hit by the iconic King Short Shirt.
Exodus placed second in the competition, just missing out on the title of 2023 panorama champions.
We here at the VC Bird International and the Airport Authority are exceedingly proud of Khan’s achievements and so went out of our way along with members of his band, the Caribbean Union Bank Hellsgate Steel Orchestra to give him a warm reception on his return.
