8 new cases of COVID-19

(Dashboard Update for December 16, 2021)

 

The most recent report received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment revealed eight (8) new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Wednesday 15th December 2021 at 6pm.

 

Two hundred and  forty-five (245) samples were processed.

 

Three (3) recovered cases were recorded.

 

Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is four thousand one hundred and eighty-six (4,186); which is inclusive of thirty-three (33) active cases.

 

There are no hospitalized cases.

 

Meanwhile, Antigua and Barbuda has fully vaccinated fifty seven thousand eight hundred and eighty-eight (57,888) individuals while four thousand and thirty-three (4,033) have only received their first dose.

 

The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.

  1. GREAT!! still no hospitalisations. I am hoping and praying that after the Christmas & New Year celebrations are over, and when the VACCINATED tourists leaves our beautiful shores, that the hospital figures are still at ZERO FIGURES.
