  1. “laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda”… confirmed by what, The discredited PCR test? (Abandoned by CDC Dec. 31 2021)

The only reason to continue reporting CASES rather then DEATHS is that would destroy their narrative and not serve their desire to spread FEAR.

    • Angel, you are spreading disinformation, your blank statement that the PCR test has been discredited is pure BS.:

Here is a brief summary of what happened:

The CDC’s original PCR test has been voluntarily recalled in favor of a more efficient multiplex PCR test
You The CDC’s original PCR test gave accurate, dependable results. It was not recalled because of accuracy (sensitivity or specificity) concerns
All PCR tests for COVID-19 are designed to only give positive results if SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19) is present
PCR tests are more accurate and reliable than antigen tests

      • Or…… as Kary Mullis, the inventor of the PCR test who was awarded a Nobel Chemistry Prize, said that by using certain protocols for the PCR test, scientists can come up with results they want — he stated, “…with PCR, if you do it well, you can find almost anything in anybody.”

So that is why it should never have been used in the first place

  2. The government’s policy is now to let omicron spread and damn the consequences to our health and healthcare system. Already we are seeing de facto lockdowns with businesses unable to open because their staff are all infected. The hospital will soon be overwhelmed simply because we will not enough medical staff to operate it because they are infected.
All non essential workers must be given stay at home pay, tax the hotels and offshore banks to pay for it. All essential workers must be given hazard pay and adequate safety conditions at work. Childcare must be made free for all.
Where are the worker’s unions? The one time they are actually needed and they hide. Please show some backbone and demand health and safety for your members

    • @Arnold
True… however there is a silver lining with Omicron.
Yes it is spreading like crazy around the world but it isn’t killing many people or resulting in many hospitalizations. Furthermore, once people recover naturally from the infection they are immune to it and apparently other variants of the virus. Omicron may well END this pandemic once and for all!

      • There isnt enough evidence to know whether they are immune after omicron or not. And hospitalizations and deaths from omicron are overwhelmingly among the unvaccinated. Children are also much more likely to catch omicron. If they actually published the data here for unvaxxed (nuts) vs vaccinated you would see more than 90% of the infected here are the unvaxxed. Same for other islands where they do publish the figures

  3. @Commenting from the distance
No… you are only partially right.
Saying it was a ‘voluntarily’ recall is pure rhetoric designed to put a positive spin on it while avoiding the reality of the situation.
The original PCR test was only looking for SARS-CoV-2 and ignoring genetic material from other viruses entirely… like the FLU virus. Even doing this, they had to ramp up the test to over 40 amplifications to detect anything. Usually they were just picking up inactive RNA fragments, not active viruses. This IMO was done to create massive FEAR so they could cheat in the US presidential election. They also used the fear to lockdown the world, destroy global supply chains, CRASH THE WORLD BANKING SYSTEM and help bring in THE NEW WORLD ORDER. The REAL problem was that they used the old PCR test to convince people to take the vaccines which are depopulation drugs because what they put in them. They also put in other nasty stuff like graphene and self assembling nano-machine particles and gene engineered operating systems to eventually control people’s minds and bodies.

I think what the NEW multiplex PCR test will do is differentiate between flu and covid and PROVE what I’ve been saying all along… That the people who are spreading covid are the VACCINATED because they were injected with the spike proteins. They’ll be the ones testing positive for covid while the the unvaccinated will only show them to either test positive for the FLU and test negative for covid.

  4. Unwarranted #Mayhem!

The present surge in recorded positive cases, false positives or true positives does not appear to be overburdening the healthcare system, with only 9 persons out of 2026 positive cases hospitalized that’s a 0.8771929825% hospitalization rate.

My 93 year young mother who’s unvaccinated and have access to all of the vaccines but refused to take any, caught the Omicron.
After three days at home and left with a stuffy head, all she said, “Me shuddah min dey a Antigua fu dip me head innah the sea, cause, dat dey wuddah lick um trait outtah me head!”
Of course, she bang plentee #Bush #Tea! Rub dung wid she Mental/Soft candle mixture.

    Her temp remained normal.
Didn’t lose appetite, taste nor smell.
No headaches, muscle or joint aches.

  5. @Ras Smood
Yup, You’re right. Nothing to get all excited about.
Take some chicken soup, drink plenty of water and get some rest and let it run it’s course.
Vitamins C, D, and zinc helps too.

Your mother now is protected against all covid variants because of the natural immunity she has acquired from Omicron.

    • @Angel…this is what she wanted. She is not an #Antivaxxer. However, from the beginning of this #Mayhem, she was adamant that she was not taking these #Vaccines.
Her parents and Grandparents lived through the #Roaring 20’s and the Spanish Flu and her Grandmother and Aunt were Midwife’s and Herbalists.

My 4 year old great nephew got it, stayed in #Mommy’s arm for One day, ran a mild temp, vomited some but was back break dancing the next day. The hysteria is doing more damage to the health of many

  6. Why are schools open? Children might not be affected much by omicron, but isn’t it exhausting and confusing and mentally draining to constantly be monitoring, quarantining, isolating and all of that? Every time one of the many kids maybe gets exposed, the entire class has to quarantine etc. etc. etc.? Seems very disruptive to a lot of different families lives. Why not just have online school until cold/flu/Covid season is over and the numbers go back down mid-late Feb as usual and then go back to in-person when the numbers go down. If the kids happen to get it while at home online – no problem they recover at home, and are ready to head back out later in the term. Only a single family is affected. If they get it while at school – so so many problems for multiple people. And think of all the trouble for the poor teachers… some kids in class, some kids online, some kids in quarantine for weeks, some kids missing tests, SBAs etc. etc., resheduling this and that. Just teach theory with everyone online during the cold season and work on SBAs and exams when the numbers are lower. Simple.

Based on trends for the last two years, while the pandemic is ongoing, seems like 1st term and 2nd term might have to be online for half and then in-person towards the end approaching exams. Or maybe long vacation should be changed to coincide with the winter season instead of the summer season. Desperate times call for desperate measures…
