A disagreement over money has landed a 65-year-old York’s man in the hospital with a stab wound to the back.
Reports are that on Tuesday, the man and his female companion got into an argument over money he had loaned to her.
He reportedly asked for the $15 which she had borrowed some time earlier when she became upset and threw a $50 bill at him.
The 60-year-old woman told him to change the money and take what he is owed, but the man refused and walked away.
According to reports, the woman then accused the man of taking her money and demanded that he hand it over.
He denied taking the $50 and while walking away from the irate woman he was stabbed in the back with a knife.
Witnesses said the man, who was bleeding profusely, was transported to the hospital in a private vehicle.
