55 new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda

(Dashboard Update for May 19, 2022)

The most recent report received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment revealed fifty-five (55) new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Tuesday 17th May, 2022 at 6pm.
Twenty-one (21) cases were recorded on May 16th and  twenty-one (21) on May 17th.
One hundred and eight (108) samples were processed.
Forty-one (41) recovered cases were recorded.
Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is seven thousand nine hundred and ten (7,910); which is inclusive of one hundred and seventy-five (175) active cases. There are three (3) hospitalized cases; one (1)severe and two (2) mild.

The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.

      Just wait for the 87+ fetes cabinet are boasting about and observe the numbers thereafter.

      USA is apparently under a fifth wave of covid at moment, cases up 170% & hospitalizations increasing.

      Please remember, some people have covid with mild effects, others are fatigued & unable to work for months, others have sharp pain & internal damage.

      Let us go back to being respectful of each other and putting healthy enjoyment of life into focus.

  3. Flu season is upon us don’t get sucked In the narrative. Ever since covid appear the flu and other cold disappear. Nobody get sick from nothing else covid eradicate all sickness

    • Well, in Australia, UK, US, and my workplace the majority of infections are among the “vaccinated” so one can make an educated guess. Don’t forget, one of the side-effects observed in the Pfizer trials was COVD-19! Until we wake up they will be able to sell us any lie.

    The mass, non stop vaccination campaign have caused highly resistant variants to become the dominant strains — the non neutralizing antibodies generated in the vaccinees are enhancing the infectiousness of the virus making the vaccinees more susceptible to infection. And, the virus will continue to exploit the immune status of the vaxxed
    The “experts” decided to IGNORE the evolutionary capacity of viruses to respond to the immune pressure exerted by a mass vaccinated population.

    A pandemic cannot be tamed if herd immunity is not achieved; and more importantly, herd immunity is only achieved with a dramatic decrease of the infection transmission rate in the population.

    If they don’t change their strategy, an explosion is very likely in the future. Nothing can beat #NATURE.
