43 new cases of COVID-19 recorded today

(Dashboard Update for September 30, 2021)

 

 

The most recent report received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre revealed forty-three (43) new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Tuesday 28th September 2021 at 6pm.

 

 

Seventy-four (74) samples were processed at Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre and one hundred and eighty (180) at CARPHA.

 

 

Seventy-two (72) recovered cases were recorded increasing the total to two thousand two hundred and six (2,206).

 

 

Three (3) Covid-19 related deaths were recorded increasing the total to seventy-nine (79).

 

 

Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is three thousand two hundred and thirty-one (3,231); which is inclusive of nine hundred and forty-six  (946) active cases.

 

There are forty-eight (48) hospitalized cases; twenty-eight (28) mild, thirteen(13) moderate and ten (10) severe.

 

Meanwhile, Antigua and Barbuda has fully vaccinated forty two thousand four hundred and twenty-seven (42,427) individuals while nine thousand four hundred and forty-four (9,444) have only received their first dose.

 

 

The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.

  2. These numbers show that the vaccine don’t stop the transmission and hospitalization and who knows what the long term effects of these drugs are. Most unvaccinated people who catch covid-19 have a 99% chance of recovering from it. Those who die have underlying medical conditions and that a FACT!

  3. The vaccine is slowing transmission. And if you get it you can spread it. But if the vaccine prevents you from dying wouldn’t that be the overall most important factor. You not dead !!!
