Four Arrested for Unlawful Possession of Firearm & Ammunition

Police arrest four persons for unlawful possession of firearms and ammunition.

On Saturday, February 3, the police executed search warrants on two separate properties at Swetes and found two firearms and several rounds of ammunition.

The occupants of the homes were taken into custody.

Further investigations are ongoing into both incidents.

  1. Where are these fire arms coming from?? Who is selling these on the black market? Inquiring minds need to know, but more importantly the authorities who by now should know the sources ,need to act NOW!

  4. So what. The Court will let them out on Monday with a likkle fine. Let the crime spree continue after all it is no big thing. We have the lowest crime in the region. All of this will change when a big one gets beaten and robbed or their wife or daughter get raped. Only then will we see something happen. Time for useless Cutie and Rodney to go. Oh if only we had a proper opposition party in this country.

  6. More fines coming for this broke government to raise their capital. What a joke.

    The problem here is that you can’t even jail these bastards, because the president has already been set in the earlier cases by handing out fines,so nothing else can be done here.

    All the defense lawyer will argue, is that the standard of punishment has been already established (with these fines)and must be followed.

    Yep..this is the deal this AG has made with these criminals.
