On Thursday at approximately 10:30 a.m, a collaborative drug interdiction operation took place at the Deep-Water Harbour, involving officers from the Narcotics Department and the Customs Enforcement Unit. WHATS APP  GROUP LINK

During the operation, a total of thirty-nine and a half (39.5) pounds of Cannabis were confiscated, with an estimated street value of $316,000.00ECC.

The seized substance is currently undergoing further investigation.

As of now, no arrests have been made, and ongoing investigations are being conducted.

  1. Something is totally fishy about these operations. It’s always finding and confiscating with no arrest and even though we the public try to show how dumb this procedure is we continue to see the same thing happening. Question is this on the up and up?

  2. Who were these parcels/barrels you name it shipped to?? I agree no mention of past seizures and arrests made? Were they shipped to no name individuals? Something is absolutely wrong with the system. Or the follow up news never hit the media? Mr commissioner we need answers as the public.
