Shammoy Cheddick, 33 was remanded to prison pending sentencing after a jury found him guilty of serious indecency on a teenager.
The convict was asked to give the 17-year-old a ride to her home in April of 2017.
However, after dropping home two of his friends, Cheddick drove passed the girl’s home and carried her to a bushy area.
He asked her to have sex with him and when she refused, he forcefully inserted his finger in her vagina.
The girl immediately reported the matter and a subsequent medical examination revealed evidence consistent with her report.
Cheddick will be sentenced in July.
