30 new cases of COVID-19

(Dashboard Update for October 15, 2021)

The most recent report received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre and the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) revealed thirty (30) new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Thursday 14th October 2021 at 6pm.

One hundred and twenty-one (121) samples were processed at Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre and forty-one (41) at CARPHA.

Forty-seven (47) recovered cases were recorded increasing the total to three thousand and sixty-nine (3,069).

Two (2) Covid-19 related deaths were recorded increasing the total to ninety-five (95).

Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is three thousand eight hundred and eighty-eight (3,888); which is inclusive of seven hundred and twenty-four (724) active cases. There are thirty-five (35) hospitalized cases; twenty-three (23) mild, five (5) moderate and seven (7) severe.

Meanwhile, Antigua and Barbuda has fully vaccinated forty five thousand eight hundred and thirty-six (45,836) individuals while nine thousand one hundred and seventy-one (9,171) have only received their first dose.

The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.
