A 27-year-old woman named Lateefa George died while in the care of Clarevue Psychiatric Hospital, with her family seeking answers.
Lateefa passed away between October 30 and 31, and her mother was informed of her death on the morning of October 31.
Lateefa had been receiving treatment at the hospital for an extended period.
The family is unaware of the circumstances surrounding her death, whether it occurred at Clarevue or another medical facility.
They plan to hire an attorney to investigate the matter. Lateefa, an Antigua native and a former Jennings Secondary School student, was her parents’ only child.
