Police Investigate Newfield Homicide
Police are continuing their investigations into an alleged homicide that occurred at Newfield Village at about 12:10 a.m on Friday 21st May 2021.
It is alleged that an altercation ensued between two men ages twenty-six (26) and fifty-six (56) years who are known to each other.
The body of the 56-year-old man was later found in the vicinity of his home with what appeared to be injuries.
A medical doctor arrived on the scene and pronounced the body dead around 9:05 a.m.
The 26-year-old is currently in police custody assisting the police further into their investigations.
Police are appealing to residents in the surrounding area who may have information on this latest homicide to contact the Freetown Police Station at 460-4121 or the Criminal Investigations Department at 462- 3913/14.
This brings to two (2) the number of homicides recorded in Antigua and Barbuda for the year 2021.

He had altercation with a man who could be his grandfather and to make matters worse alledgedly killed him. He loves no one not even himself. Hang him by his BALLS if he has any.

Why the doctors always late.. For Example; someone die at about 8:30am and the doctor reach at 2pm to pronounce the body is really dead 🤔
The time of pronounced death does not mean the person died because of lack of medical assistance. After someone dies a medical doctor/examiner must pronounced the body dead before it can be moved to the morgue.

That’s against the point, the age. So because they are 30 years apart and he could not be his grandfather, he can kill him? An individual has a child at 16 yrs, when that parent is 32 the child is 16. The child now has a child at 20 the parent is 52 the the 52 year old is not a grand parent. You dam fool.
just hope this argument over what age a person can become a grandparent doesnt lead to violence… cool down the temperature
