22-year-old Ti-Jon James of English Harbour was pronounced dead at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Center, following a traffic collision on the Sir Sydney Walling Highway around 11 pm Tuesday night. CLICK HERE TO JOIN OUR WHATS APP GROUP FOR MORE UPDATES

The allegations are that James was driver of a white Honda Integra motor car that was traveling from West to East on the Sir Sydney Walling Highway at a fast seed, when he apparently lost control of the vehicle in the vicinity of the dog farm.

The vehicle reportedly flipped several times before it collided with a concrete wall.

The driver sustained multiple injuries to his body and was transported to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Center by the Emergency Medical Services.

Doctors reported that the patient arrived at the hospital in a critical and unstable condition. All efforts were made to resuscitate him, but was proven unsuccessful.

He was pronounced dead around 3:33 am.

  3. I was in Antigua last week and whilst driving on Friars Hill Road driving northward, I was overtaken by two cars, on one occasion and one car on another. I don’t know the reason for speeding in Antigua as no where is really that far. It has become a way of life for many young men to accelerate the pedal, not realizing that they burn more gas by speeding. When you learn how precious life is, you make smarter decisions. Sorry for loss to this family of this young man.

  8. RIP.Condolences to his Parents,Relatives and Friends.There were three cars trying to overtake me on Factory Road. I had to pull off the side into the grass to give them way,then proceeded on to my destination. I do know why young people speed. I am from Antigua and did drive very fast in my younger days. As one matures with age you become more responsible. Please folks the roads in Antigua are not constructed for excessive speeding. Drive safely with concentration,caution and care.

  9. Condolences to the families. I guess tears of sadness. N I keep warning him to stop driving so fast… speed trills but it kills. To prove that you could go faster than your other friends doesn’t prove that you can drive. To rush to one point to the other with out control. To all my young friends drive at the speed limit .bc when any vehicle get out of control beyond regular speed u can take other ppl life plus your own. In the end uncontroable speed kills n no one wins.if you take some innocence persons life.you pay for it with the rest of your life. If you don’t take another person or persons life.you take your own.you leave hurting families behind. So.please stop and learn.STOP SAYING THAT WONT BE ME IF YOU LOVE TO SPEED. LOVE.

  10. Glad to hear he kill only himself and didn’t injure or kill anyone else. The jackass learned the hard way not to speed. One less ignorant jackass off the roads making them safer.

  11. S.I.P Condolences to the family of this young man. There say no parent should have to bury their child. I can not begin to understand what you may be going through at this time. May you find some kind of comfort by holding him in your heart.
