22 pounds of cannabis seized at the General Post Office



Twenty-two pounds of cannabis were seized at the General Post Office on Tuesday.

A cardboard box containing 20 vacuum-sealed packages of cannabis with an estimated street value of EC 132,000 was discovered during a joint drug operation between the Police and Customs Department.

The controlled substance was taken to the Police Headquarters as investigations continue into the matter

  2. The police in Antigua are real jokers and don’t really want to catch who importing illegal drugs into the country. If they did they would allow the drugs to be collected and follow them then arrest the persons.
    How many times the same things at airport, post office and the port, with no arrest or charges?

    Cocaine, the DRUG of choice for the aristocrats, nuff n edge_up’, tourists can never be found. Why is this so? There is more cocaine on the streets/private homes/rum bars, whorehouses and HOTELS of Antigua and BARBUDA, BARBUDA, BARBUDA!
