21-Year-Old Charged with Possession & Theft of Firearm

A 21-year-old Nelson Street man is due to appear before the court on Tuesday of this week, charged with possession and theft of a firearm and ammunition.

On Friday, May 24, the police arrested and charged 21-year-old Nickquan Valarie with unlawful possession of one 9mm firearm, and unlawful possession of 12 matching rounds of ammunition.

He was also charged with larceny of the said firearm and ammunition.

The accused reportedly stole the firearm from a licensed firearm holder, while they were working on a farm at Orange Valley.

A complaint was made to the police, and a search was carried out at his home, where the said weapon was recovered. He was arrested and taken into custody.

  1. Lately we’ve heard of a lot of people being held for possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunition, but still our police department failed to make any headway on how these guns and ammo getting to our shores and further into our streets.
    As for me I do believe the clues are there, but it’s like a jigsaw puzzle and because of politics only the small and ignorant man on the street will continue to see the prison cells.
    This happens in every country, certain names are immune from from the law, because not only are they huge business owners, but they contribute heavily to the country, Big and main sponsors to many of our events and they donate heavily, some may even donate to fight the same gun and drug infiltration, that they themselves dominate, but life goes on blindly as the little man continues to fall.
