2 in police custody for illegal gun and bullets

*TWO PERSONS IN POLICE CUSTODY FOR ILLEGAL FIREARM AND AMMUNITION

Two persons are being questioned by police in connection with possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition.

On Friday, November 15, police were conducting a routine stop-and-search operation in Grays Farm, when they intercepted a vehicle occupied by Michael Cummings of Grays Farm and Charmaine Cummings of Bathlodge.


A search was conducted on the vehicle and one unlicensed firearm with several rounds of ammunition were found.

The illegal items were seized and both parties were arrested and taken into custody. Investigations are ongoing.
