Fifteen COVID-19 test results have come back negative, Chief Medical Officer Dr Rhonda Sealey-Thomas has said.

She says of the 16 tests which returned on Monday, 5 were repeat tests on persons who previously tested positive.

Of the five repeats, four tested negative and one person tested positive. All 11 people who were tested for the first time are negative for the virus.

Patient zero, the first person to have tested positive for coronavirus here remains positive but there are plans to test her again “in the very near future.” Clinically, officials say the woman is doing very well.

So far there are seven recovered  covid-19 patients.

“Its very good news,” Dr. Sealey-Thomas said.

  1. Am sorry, but this seems fishy, its eigher the doctors don’t know what theyr doing or the government is in some kungfu mood

    • So you rather that we have more postive case meaning more strain on our fragile health care system. People like you really love to be negative or political.

  2. Maybe since you are not please that ppl are testing negative you should volunteer to be injected with the virus I guess that will make you feel a whole lot better.

  3. She is a great case study. She is feeling well, no symptoms, And has been Covid positive for over a month. Yet she may be able to pass the virus to someone, and they can get very sick. When the lock down is lifted, we cannot resume life as we knew it before Covid-19. We have to continue be vigilant with our routine and rituals, and practice social distancing. Stay safe.

  4. How about telling the patients first and not letting them find out on social media. What a circus…….
